Your REMT Experience

What are your biggest learnings in business?

During the REMT program, working with real-world clients like Punpro and Sopet taught me the significance of thorough market research in shaping business strategies.1. Data-Driven Decision Making: Conducting in-depth market research highlighted the importance of gathering and analyzing data to understand customer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes. This foundation is essential for making informed recommendations for expansion strategies.2. Local Market Insights: Exploring diverse markets for Punpro and Sopet emphasized how regional nuances—such as cultural preferences, pricing sensitivities, and consumer expectations—play a pivotal role in crafting effective strategies.3. Practical Application of Theory: Translating classroom knowledge into actionable research for real-world clients helped me refine my analytical skills, bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical execution.4. Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Researching potential opportunities required identifying gaps in the market, evaluating risks, and recommending feasible solutions tailored to the clients’ goals and resources. While our role was focused on research rather than implementation, these experiences underscored the importance of strategic groundwork in enabling sustainable growth.

What are your biggest learnings in personal growth?

The REMT program was a journey of significant self-discovery, particularly in understanding my strengths and growth as a team player.1. Growing as a Team Player: Collaborating with peers and clients revealed the value of active listening and building trust. I realized that leveraging collective strengths and maintaining clear communication are key to achieving shared goals.2. Discovering My Strengths: The program helped me identify my aptitude for strategic thinking and research. It was a moment of self-discovery to see how I could combine analytical skills with creativity to deliver meaningful insights. These realizations have made me more confident in my abilities and better equipped to contribute to dynamic, team-oriented environments.
