Bangkok, Thailand — April 8, 2025 – SEA Bridge, a leading platform for growth consulting and cross-border entrepreneurship in Southeast Asia, has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, to strengthen entrepreneurial and real-world learning opportunities for students in the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Computer Engineering and Digital Technology (CEDT).
This landmark partnership brings together SEA Bridge’s regional expertise in entrepreneurship and innovation with Chulalongkorn University’s world-class engineering education, helping students bridge the gap between classroom learning and high-impact industry experiences.
With fast-evolving technologies such as AI, IoT, and cloud computing reshaping industries, the collaboration ensures students from Thailand’s most well-regarded engineering institution gain business exposure, regional insights, and practical know-how to thrive in ASEAN’s digital economy.
“As Thailand’s leading engineering institution, we are committed to preparing our students to become global innovators. This collaboration with SEA Bridge enables our students to not only apply their knowledge in real-world settings, but also to expand their networks regionally and globally—opening doors to new industries, partners, and career opportunities,” said Assoc. Prof. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Ph.D., Dean, Faculty of Engineering.
Through workshops, business competitions, real-client consulting cases, and the SEA Bridge NextGen 1967 Internship Program, CEDT and CU Engineering students will be able to fulfill their academic internship requirements while gaining hands-on experience in rapidly growing industries.
“We’ve already welcomed two outstanding CEDT students into our NextGen program—and this MoU now cements a long-term partnership. Together with Chulalongkorn Engineering, we’re equipping the next generation of digital engineers to lead innovation across ASEAN,” said Mr. Casper-Tanakrit Sermsuksan, Founder of SEA Bridge.
“SEA Bridge NextGen was honestly the best learning experience I've had outside the classroom. It opened my eyes to how my coding and systems skills can actually solve real business problems. It made me feel more confident — not just as an engineer, but as someone who can create real impact in the world,” said a CEDT student participant from Batch 5.
“I always tell my friends and juniors in CEDT that if they get the chance, they should definitely join — it’s one of the best experiences you can have as a student,” added another participant.
The collaboration kicks off with a special keynote session delivered by SEA Bridge, followed by the nomination of selected CEDT students for the NextGen 1967 ASEAN Internship Program from May to August 2025.
The partnership will culminate in a flagship experience: Chulalongkorn students will join the ASEAN Future Talent Forum 2025, to be held on November 28–29, 2025, where they will present solutions, engage with regional leaders, and represent Thailand on a global stage.
Present at the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Witaya Wannasuphoprasit, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Asst. Prof. Attawith Sudsang, Ph.D., Head of the Department of Computer Engineering; and Asst. Prof. Narongdech Keeratipranon, Ph.D., Chair of the CEDT Program.
From SEA Bridge, Mr. Casper-Tanakrit Sermsuksan, Founder, and Ms. Kasama Hirunyarat, Assistant Managing Director, joined the event, alongside SEA Bridge NextGen student leaders from Chulalongkorn University who have previously participated in the program.
